What is THE MOVER?
The Mover is the official student publication of Southville International School and Colleges. It aims to cover the school's notable milestones and shed light on stories that matter. Largely run by the students for the students, it strives to provide an outlet for creativity, a freedom wall for the community, and a soundboard for ideas. More than just journalism, it is a megaphone for content creators to share the Southville experience. From news articles to student features and artworks, The Mover is the Monarch's Platform, Pen, and Paper.
Vision
The Mover aims to inform and inspire SISC's student body with a variety of media, as well as empower its creativity, passions, and talents. We aim to be the voice of the students and a platform for student pride. As a publication, The Mover also aims to educate its staff in the ways of journalism and content creation to further add to their skillset.
Mission
Through our social media and website, The Mover is the platform of not only our staff, but the members of the school. We are fair, kind, and honest; our content is positive and constructive to our community. Through this platform, we raise our students with pride and foster awareness of socially-relevant issues. Through this small curriculum, we raise our staff members with information.
