A Universe in One’s Mind

A barren world of nothingness,

Filled with philosophical theories, mysteries, and nothing less

The purity of nature couldn't stand alone for us to live

For there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide;

Countless trials and errors were made in order to survive

We were given a purpose from the day of our birth,

Like a seed planted beneath the damp soils of the earth,

And as each day and night passes by,

The seed continues to grow, from forming roots to bearing enriching fruits

In search of our worth in a narrowed path,

Our curiosity seeks explanations to unanswered questions,

Leading to creative ideas and groundbreaking innovations,

Which solve the enigmas of humanity's wrath

In the universe of one's mind,

Facts and imagination ignited the galaxies of stars in the sky

When we look beyond the horizon, we'll realize how far we've come,

And see that this is what our minds created—an astonishing world that it has become.
