Hope in Falling

To save a tired, weary one.

To gain it all, risk it all.

Uncertainty, falling down rabbit holes,

As a path so unknown opens,

Rays of light shone

On one’s dreary, mundane dreams

As if it were roaring like thunder.

In the midst of the darkness,

Leaving a gloomy track.

Daring to get a little closer,

As she sees what awaits her.

Little by little,

Hope bloomed within.

The sweet, lavender haze

Became worth the chase.

To her worn-down self,

At long last, to be gracefully set free.

She spread her wings with glee

Like a bird free from its cage,

and soared.
