O’ south pole, how attractive is your scent!

A voice whispering to me that I yearn

Drowning towards you without your consent

Till my heart feels warmth – a strong harsh burn

Your existence, a mesmerizing sigh

The cold, silent scream – o’ it makes me weak!

The stronger the force, the louder my cry

You are the north pole, resistant and bleak!

Slowly realizing, we swiftly depart

My energy gently starts to regain

Pain it is, as our hearts are forced apart

And the dulcet tones of freedom go down the drain

Love can entirely make or break you,

And for the best, I chose to be broken.
