SGEN MUN 2021

From February 20-21, the first-ever SGEN MUN Main Conference brought 128 delegates from five SGEN schools to draft and debate their resolutions.

Hosted entirely online by SISC's MUN Secretariat and other SGEN chairs, Director-General Sir Jude Cuntapay called this milestone a "leap of faith."

The conference's theme of "Connecting the world one delegate at a time" prevailed as delegates made contentious yet fruitful debate sessions. SGEN chairs noted that their performance improved from last November's pre-conference. Different SGEN delegates got to create new friendships. Secretary-General Diego Kim notes that SGEN has surely grown into a community.

SISC's delegation was able to garner 10 awards out of the 18 given. After two days of SGEN MUN, chairs and delegates alike are hopeful that this won't be the last. #SGENMUN2021
